I decided to end my search for one.

Blue with night package is a no go. Blue looks better with the silver trim.
Hi there,

here's my GLS500 with Night Package and upgraded GT Grill.

What do you think?

cheers

From what I read in here people are getting almost the same on the V8 so if that is the case I won't feel too bad going into the pump to fill the tank. This will be tough call....I know I will like the V8 as I had a E550 loaner few years ago and I almost never gave it back.
my GLS550 is still new to me and was shocked by a recent highway sprint….distronic set on 80mph for 27mins and doing 24mpg.

Finding a GLS450 with ventilated seats is possible as it was optional but it is standard on the GLS550. We have a 550 and I personally really like the way the 550 looks with the beefy fender flares and the AMG styling (ventilated front rotors, more aggressive front fascia, etc.) The GLS450s I see around just look like generic people movers. You don't see a 550 out in the wild that often, and when you do it definitely gets your attention. I may not avoid any cylinder scuffing issues on mine but I do the oil change with LiquiMoly 5W40 and the Purflux L394 oil filter every 5000 miles. And, wow, I've embarrassed a couple of punks in Mustangs with the 550; the thing will stand up and run.

Also I think the blue with the Night Package looks quite nice.

550 looks nice. Yes, the stock 450 is not as attractive as the 550 but the 550 does not look as nice as the 63. I have a 63 body kit and new wheels for my 450 but have yet to install. Love the mileage of the 450 vs the 63 but love the performance of the 63.
