GLS450 - Sound System
I have a very irritating issue with my sound system. Hoping someone can help. 2017 GLS 450, has the 'Command' software. In Media mode, when playing MP3s from a USB device, I can change the option from Normal Playback, meaning it will play the songs in the order they are in on the USB drive, typically alphabetically. Or there are 2 settings for random. I forget the exact verbiage but basically full random and half random? I always select the full random option. The issue is that (not) every time I turn the car off and back on the function reverts to Normal Playback. It restarts the playback from the beginning rather than continuing the song it was last playing..and then continuing in full random mode as I set it. I mean, I like Aerosmith but I don't want to hear them almost every single time I get into my car. And that is what is even more odd...every once in a while it WILL stay on random and resume playing the song it was on when I turned the car off. Has anyone ever seen this? Have a suggestion on how to fix it? Thanks for reading!

COMAND is generally bad at logic and controls. When I start the car with my phone plugged into MEDIA it plays the first song alphabetically in my library. Very dumb.
