6-seat / 2nd-row buckets in a 2019?
Hello - new user here. Based on a very recent thread on reliability of a 2019 vs 2020 GLS-450, I've decided to change my pending purchase to a 2019 model. However, there appear to be two options that are very common to a 2020 that were important to me and my family: a 6-seat / 2nd row bucket configuration, and 19" wheels for their higher-durability tires. I am willing to stand up and testify that there isn't a single 6-seat 2019 GLS-450 available on the handful of sites I've browsed.
How to confirm if these options are even available for 2019? They're plentiful in 2020.

19” wheels were optional for 2019 GLS450
Second row captain’s chairs were not available in 2019 and I don’t think were ever offered on X166.

Incase this can help, I also planned on buying a GLS with the second row captain's chairs so I was originally only looking at 2020 or newer models. This changed after spending a day driving around a 2021 service loaner with captain's chairs. I loved how the interior looked, but the captain's chairs made the space feel extremely tight and they weren't as functional as I had hoped.
After doing a lot of research (many thanks to chassis), I decided to go with a 2019 CPO that had every option we were looking for and low mileage. With three small kids, I like that they can pile into the second row for short trips and there's plenty of extra room to have sports gear in the back when the third row is down. Had we gone with the captain's chairs, the third row would always be down and the cargo area is limited even for groceries.
Happy to try to help if you have other questions as I couldn't be happier with our GLS!

Thank you, stinson23! Yeah, Chassis seems to be the Don Corleone of the GLS....
Funny how I started noticing that the 2021+ is advertised at 24 mpg highway, so then I started looking at 2021's, but now they don't offer the 19" wheel size in that model year.....
What I really need to do is bring the kids to test drive one and ask them how important are the captain's chairs.
Appreciate the thoughtful responses from you and chassis!
