Hello,

Need some advise on GLS450 we are looking to purchase for my wife
Its a 2019 GLS450 CPO 48k on odo.

I understand the importance of regular maintenance as I`ve had a 2015 ML350 that ran almost problem free for 130k miles. That said, How is the reliability of the X166 GLS.
The only issue I had with ML was that air suspension started to fail at 90k, which is pretty common i guess.

I~ve looked at X167 and my wife just does not like it.

2019 GLS450 is one of the most reliable MBs in the past several platform generations. Proven reliable M276 V6 engine, and the body, steering, suspension, interior and electronics are robust. Air suspension is a maintenance item, so plan for that. No unpleasant surprises with this platform.

Please post pics when it arrives!

Agree with "chassis" ... we purchased the MY18 GLS450 in Oct 2017. 60k on the clock currently. The only repair was the driver's front AirMatic Strut replacement under warranty at 37,000. We believe we hit the "sweet spot" for this model as well. Good Luck and post pics of your decision.
BTW - we replaced the OEM tires with the Continental Cross Contact LX25 275/50R20 rated at 740-A-A. They are excellent imo.

Thanks for the update.

I`ve been running Continental AWS 05 on ML for years now and ride quality is fantastic compared to stock.

Thanks

One thing that drew me to that was the M276. Virtually bulletproof
