I’m testing out the rear climate control panel in my 2019 GLS550. When the thermostat is set at 60, air blasts out of the roof vents. When the thermostat is set to heat, the B-pillar vents have decent flow but almost nothing comes out of the center vents. When I switch to bi-level, air comes out of the floor vents but almost nothing comes out of the pillar or center console vents.
Are there separate blower motors for hot and cold air? Seems strange that the roof vents blow out so strongly while the heat is so weak.
