Dynamic Drive Setting and Loss of Power
I took our GLS camping and used the Dynamic Control off-road setting which limits power and adjusts the transmission for off-road driving. Since then, even with the Dynamic control in Comfort or Sport mode, the car is starting in second gear and horsepower is limited at 200-210. I confirmed this in the Vehicle Data section of the center console screen when I drive where it meters HP and torque. At 6000RPM the car maxes as just over 200hp.
I’ve taken this vehicle off road and in the snow many times and never experienced this before. Has anyone experienced this? I know the transmission learns driving style and can be “reset”. I wonder if the Dynamic drive can develop a mind of its own can can also get a reset without having to take it to the dealer.
