vibration Advice Needed

I have a 17’ GLS550 with 86,000 miles. CPO runs out in November. 2 months ago I took it in to a Mercedes dealer and they replaced the front drive shaft and engine mounts under CPO warranty. As soon as I picked the truck up, I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel and front end especially at highway speeds 65mph and above. I can even sit in the passenger seat and feel it. I took it back to the dealer as I’ve never had this issue before bringing it to them. Have my second set of Michelin Pilot All Season 4 tires which I just bought 4 months ago and they have always been smooth. Dealer agreed to road force balance. No change. Alignment was also off which the dealer tried to align properly and they didn’t do right so I had to take it to another dealer and they performed a perfect alignment. No change.

Took it back to original dealer and they looked at it again their shop Forman drove it and felt the vibration and said he’s pretty sure it’s engine rpm related and to do the transmission mount since they did the engine mount. He did it under CPO, no change. He said everything mechanical checks out fine it has to be the tires. Took it back to my tire place a top rated tire distributor, they did a road force balanced, on car balance, rotation removed and reseated all tires and could find nothing wrong with the tires. Still have the vibration.

At this point the Mercedes dealer has washed their hands clean and pretty much told me to go pound sand they believe it’s the tires which I highly doubt but I can’t accuse them of installing a possible faulty drive shaft or something else if everything checks out fine visually since they won’t eat the cost being it was CPO work. Any advice?

It wasn't that way when you brought it in. Make them fix it. File a complaint if that's what it takes. Then, hire a lawyer...

Same problem

Hello,I’m a Gls 400d 2020 owner,I just got the car yesterday and I noticed there was vibration in the steering so I took the car to a tyre auto to do balance. Its discs and brake pads were changed just before I got it.I thought it’d be because of them but it didn’t seem to be that. After the balancing it’s still the same.I now contacted the dealership I got the car from to fix the problem,we’ll see what they’ll do or suggest.
