Coolant question
I have a 2018 GLS550 and have had the coolant light on for a bit. Checked the reservoir today and it's about half full of pink coolant. I purchased violet as per info I found online, which I believe is the correct coolant for the car. Can I mix the violet and pink? How high should I top it off?
Edit- Havent opened the bottle yet, but just read that violet coolant is actually pink in color, anyone confirm this?

Ignore color. Pay attention to specification compliance. Zerex G40 is compliant with MB specs during the model era in question. Go to the operating fluids site to confirm the right fluid for your car.

I had the dealership change the coolant on my 550 a month ago or so at around 80K miles. The expansion tank is full to the top. The "Coolant Low" warning will come on if the fluid level is not at the tip top on my car.

What number is on the bottle? (Something like MB 325.6). Purple and pink are apparently the same thing, although my two daughters never agreed to that.
Blue (MB 325.0, G-48) should not be mixed with Pink/Purple, but may be mixed with G-05 (yellow), making green...
MB 325.6 is G-40 and is the most recent recommendation.
MB 326.0 and 326.6 are the same as MB325.0 and 325.6 respectively, premixed with water.
