Sooo, the AC decided not to turn on this morning. Hooked up the scanner and its showing:
912749 "The air quality sensor has a malfunction. There is an internal electrical fault"
Can anyone tell me where exactly is this "air quality sensor"?
Should I just replace the sensor ($65) before diving deeper to look for the problem?
I fond a post saying that it is the NOX Sensor in the cabin air filter. 000-905-58-00. Can anyone confirm?

FYI, I found the cheapest compressor at the local MB dealer. Buy it online and pickup in store . They offer wholesale price online but retail price in store. If you are ok with aftermarket, then but DENSO brand. They are the OEM. Save a $100. Good luck!
