Video in Motion / GLS450 (X166) options?
Hello helpful friends
New GLS450 owner - bought a beautiful 2017 with all the MB safety doo-dads - gift for my wife's 50th. Love the vehicle so far.
Planning a road trip and would like to be able to have the front Screen play video for the family to enjoy. We do have the after-market MB rear entertainment screens - but there's no way to have the audio run through the speakers (goofy headphones only - which tend to be very finicky).
We like to enjoy stories & movies together - hence the desire to use the front DVD player for this purpose.
Driver won't be watching of course - but will listen along.
Anybody with experience using this NAVIKS product?

It doesn't appear the X166 (NTG 5.1 with CarPlay) is able to unlock without the physical harness. Older models had a software only option.
Can't find any reviews to determine whether this NAVIKS system works or if it's a scam?
There were some other folks on these boards (bimmerguru, etc) but haven't found anything specific to the GLS450 (X166) - mostly just the older NTG 4/4.5
A related query would be if anyone has figured out how to get audio from a 3.5ml jack into this NTG 5.1 system? No jack obv - only a USB interface which works for CarPlay wired, but not audio only.
Any help - greatly appreciated!
