Activating TSA (Traffic Sign Assist) in Australia

Has anyone successfully activated TSA (Traffic Sign Assist) in Australia?

For some silly reason its deactivated here and would like to have it activated.

The furthest I’ve got is showing the menu in the Assist tab on the cluster but still says inoperative… I did this by activating it in the EZS, then also in the instrument cluster.

The activation should be as well in MPC ( windshield Camera ) and in HU ( Head Unit ) if car does not have 513 SA Code from factory.

Anyway, TSA can't be started if you don't have any Map installed.

Now you are entitled to receive free map code from me if your car is equipped with Comand.

In the MPC I can see the provisions for TSA, so it’s there.
In the HU, I only see the option for [map based], [reserved] or off.

I do not have 513 from factory.

I do have:

531 COMAND APS NTG5/NTG5.5

and all the Australian SA codes such as 625, 901L, 9XXL. Which I don’t know what they’d be…

Is it possible to update the map to Australia/New Zealand and have traffic signs in the map to aid TSA?

I do have a map installed 2019 (V7.0) AUSTRALIA/NZ

Im also hoping if someone has a GLS, GLE W166 with TSA from factory to see what options are activated in the various modules to try replicate. I do not have DTS Monaco, Vediamo, Xentry at this stage. Only Autel which allows me to configure and program modules to a vast extent.

MPC does have the provisions for it. It shows me the various countries that it has TSA, a bunch of European countries mostly. No AU.

HU only gives me the option for ‘Map based’ or ‘reserved’ or ‘off’ under TSA setting.

I do not have 513. I do have 531 NTG5/5.5

Map currently installed is 2019 (V7.0) AUSTRALIA/NZ
(probably needs updating)

Im wondering if there is an Australian map with speed limits to aid TSA?

or

If someone has a GLE GLS w166 chassis willing to help to show the current codings for TSA that’d be great.

In the HU I only have three options. [off, reserved, map based].

in MPC I do see the option for TSA and it has specific country options like BE, UK, etc. mostly European countries. No AUS…

I do have 2019 (v7.0) AUSTRALIA/NZ map

I am concerned if the map doesn’t have traffic signs that the TSA won’t work. Although it should still read the signs from the camera whilst driving.
