Does anyone know of a timeline for the GLS63 as to its release?

 

Mid-2020 sound about right. The issue at the time is that deliveries are postponed for all GLS models and lots are filling up with cars to be reworked in Bremen, Germany and Tuscaloosa.
This may delay the launch an ongoing schedule beyond depleting the MY19 inventory.

It’s rather blah in the full uncovered pics I have of the car. Esp in black with the night package. But would be a great sleeper that way. Have black and blue full uncovered pics.

Black hides lines so the GLS would be better aesthetically in a lighter color. Do you have any idea as to when they will be released?

 

yes black hides lines which is why I love white cars. The blue 63 I have a pic of is pretty nice but needs night package to make it better

sorry I do not have any info on releases just pics and other info I gather from sources but sadly I can’t post the pics as I don’t need them to lose a job bc I posted a pic I was given

Ahahhaaha Vantablack used on it!!! Love the comment of it helps “show off the design curves and muscular blablah”. Vanta has ZERO reflection and is like “blackhole” since it absorbs light.

 

Actually that version has 1% reflectivity.

yep it helps to me just 30mi from the factory and having a large number or higher ups living in the area who always have test cars. I am told to expect Maybach test cars out soon but right now they stay mainly in a specific building away from many able to see them. But 2 weeks ago one Maybach was out and about in the factory grounds and I saw pics of that one which is the info I posted in the Maybach thread.

my wife and i keep a strong lookout for all of the test cars especially the AMG versions since again there are many in the area at times.

i don’t think i can post the fully uncovered 63 pic I have still but it’s not earth changing.

 

Can you direct me to the posting on the Mayback thread re pics in the factory grounds? I can't find it.

 

here is the thread but there are no pics from the grounds. I was just shown pics of one on the grounds and did my best to relay info from those pics. The silver lower mesh would be similar to the silver mesh on the S65. My friends who work at the plant indulge me and I see or get pics at times to see. I never post up those images I get in full to protect them. Or the very few i have i crop the heck out to just show a small part of the full image. And I just make mental notes while looking at other pics and discuss the car.

like the car I caught at Walmart here is similar to the one I was shown weeks ago with the same style wheel that was fully uncovered. . They are 2 diff cars as one has night package and the other doesn’t. But the image I posted was just that Of the wheel style.
