23" wheels on 580
Hi
I'm looking for some advice and thoughts on whether it makes sense to go with the 23" wheels on the 580. My pros/cons are:
Pros:
Look awesome
Probably proportioned well for the size of the car
Cons:
May be a little too attention-drawing
EXPENSIVE ($3K)
Expensive ongoing costs?
Does anyone have any idea of roughly how expensive tires might end up being? A comparison with the costs compared to 21" would be really good. Some time ago I tried looking for the 23" on tire rack and I couldn't even find any. Now I've lost the specs of the tires anyway (I think I got them from a YouTube review at some point) so I'm not even sure what to look up.
Thanks for the help and thoughts

OK, I should have researched a bit more before posting. tire rack website is updated to have the 580 now, and it quotes for 23"
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireS...SortCode=61534
at $1898 inc tax, for delivered (not installed)
And for 21s:
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireS...SortCode=61051
$1180 inc tax, delivered (not installed)
I'm not sure how much of an apples/apples comparison those really are though (e.g. how long they'd last relative to each other, for example)

I think the 21s on tire rack were shown as being original equipment whereas the 23s were not. I wonder what the original 23s are

Awaiting a 2021 GLS580
Another “Con” is that currently there is no tire manufacturer that makes an all-season or winter tire for the rear 23” GLS580 rims. So you are stuck with only summer performance tire options which are unsafe at freezing temperatures.
