Time from production to delivery

Anyone know the amount of time from end of production to dealer delivery on a GLS450? My wife’s GLS is cheduled for D2/Jan. I’ve not purchased an MB that’s produced domestically, Only my MY19 E450 Cab that was made in Germany.

The VPC is likely Baltimore, as was for the E450,

Also, anyone hearing of production delays on the 2020 GLS450’s? I know there was a huge Mongolian Clusterf**k getting the GLE450’s to customers this year. Tons of delays, defective and missing parts (EABC) with lots of unfinished GLE’s stacking up in Tuscaloosa waiting for parts.

A gaggle of MB's
Your Dealer will give you the Best Estimate of Shipping Time from Vance to the Dealership once the rig has been built - AND released for shipping.

Decade 2 for Jan - is Jan 10 thru Jan 20 - followup with your Salesperson - VIN# should be assigned going into Production - then your salesman can give you status when asked.

Keep the beat !

East coast seems to get their vehicles a week or two after production is complete. West cost seems to be 3 to 4 weeks.

Mine is also scheduled for 2nd decade in January. Dealer says mid to late February delivery (I'm on west coast).

3 weeks to reach west coast seems to be pretty normal. I've spoken to a few folks on west coast that ordered vehicles and it also took them between 3 to 4 weeks to get it after production is complete.
My wife's X3 took 3 weeks to get from BMW's plant in SC to the west coast as well.

Thanks. Yeah, I went through all that with my E450 last year from Germany. Was just wondering from our users' experience what the time was like coming from domestic manufacture

Thanks. That's just the info I was looking for. Appreciate it. My wife wanted the spoiler on her new GLS and that's a VPC added item along with the locking bolts. Wonder how much time that'll add.... my E450 Cab had VPC options as well, but it arrived at the VPC July 6, 2019 and then SAT THERE for two months while California got around to emission testing the model. Ended up taking delivery Sept 15.
