When Is 20201 GLS Coming Out??
For those who are familiar with MB new model year introduction time lines, when do you think we can start ordering 2021 model year GLS and when actual deliveries will start?
I have been waiting for my 2020 580 since last Sept and delivery is still at least 3 months away, I am thinking at this point I might as well wait for the 2021 model and save myself a year of depreciation and avoid typical first model year issues. Any thoughts?

Awaiting a 2021 GLS580
I am also planning to wait and submit a custom order for a 2021 GLS 580. From what I recall, there is a factory shutdown every July and afterward they start producing vehicles with the subsequent model year(MY). It seems that you can submit an order for a MY2021 GLS in late July 2020 and it should take the traditional ~6-8 weeks for delivery unless there is a queue carry over from the MY2020 orders. You can probably put an order in even earlier (e.g., GLS 63 order) but i’m guessing it’ll just sit on the queue. Please correct me if i’m mistaken.

Awaiting a 2021 GLS580
That seems highly unlikely for the U.S. market where Mercedes traditionally has an entry level V8 model (GLS 550/580) and a high performance V8 model (GLS 63).
