Active Lane Keep Assist
I have the drivers assistant package, which is awesome. Is there any way to turn off the active lane keep assist, but keep the warning (vibrating) on? The only option I find in the menu to turn off the active lane keep assist also turns off the warning. Am I missing something?

I messed around with the settings for quite some time and could not find a way. The assist is too invasive for me and agree it would be nice to have the warning like my ML had. Too much tech that is not 100% on this vehicle presents new problems that were not there before.

I tried to get rid of in it my wife’s GLE. in my area we have a lot of winding roads where we constantly have to cross over to the other lane when a landscaper or truck is parked on the side. It always gives me a problem when I need to. It sure wakes you up or scares the passengers when it happens.

Don't know about newer models, but on our '14 GL and ML, using the turn signal shuts it off. For example, if you're in the right lane of the highway and taking the next exit, the system will try to keep you in the main lane when you ease into the exit lane without using the turn signal. If you use the turn signal ahead of time, you cross into the exit lane with no system interference.

You can turn off the the lane assist completely, but the wind sway system cannot. On my E43 there is a button on the left of the steering wheel. It has a steering wheel on it as a plus its stays off too! On the 580 iI believe its in the menus.
