2020 GLS 450
Roof box and rack ?
I am interested in getting a genuine Mercedes roof box and bars for our new 2020 GLS 450
google searching has doing a few sources but I don’t think they fit the 2020 GLS. They may fit. It when looking for fitment on the websites they lost 2019 but not 2020. Are the racks different?

Let me give you some advice.... in the selection of Roof-Bars there are "better" choices than MM OE bars in two respects - one. you can get roof bars that are "taller" that allow you to use sunroof, and you can also get bars that are "quieter" that have a better aerodynamic profile when traveling at speed.
On Roof Boxes .. there are different choices for what you want to do... and several of those choices are less expensive... using a non-MB box also allows you down the road to recapture value by private sale to any non-MB owner
See this outlook on a 2020 GLS with Thule "towers" (uprights and Thule bars..

Mercedes accessories are all made by other companies. Don't waste your money on "genuine" anything.
The two major roofbox companies are Thule and Yakima. I believe the latter is what Mercedes uses.

I had 2017 GLS with MB bars and roof box, when I switched to 2020 GLS, same bars and box fit perfectly. They allow for the full opening of the sunroof as well.
