Ventilated Seats

My 2020 GLS450 is my first MB with ventilated seats. I notice they only seem to blow noticeably for about 2 minutes. Is this normal? I live in Central Florida, and this really is not long enough to cool down on a hot day (which we're still having in October).

I'm in South Florida so I can sympathize, but this doesn't sound like what I've experienced although I'm not sure I understand what you mean completely. Do the blue lights stay illuminated after this 2 minute window you described?

When I use mine I notice that it will stay on even after making a pit stop. I know there's a trip timer, 4 hours maybe, so it could be based on that. Not directly relevant but if you are unable to reproduce this behavior that may help verify there is a problem.

The lights stay illuminated, there's just little to no air moving after the initial couple of minutes. I wonder if it's a trip timing thing, and maybe I can reset the trip timer each time? I'll try it and reply. Otherwise, I may be off to the dealership to have it checked out...

Sounds like you have a real issue to me.

Mine does this too, but I do notice that it’s only as cool as the air directly under the seat itself. Try it with the middle row seat HVAC set to include the floor vent directly underneath your seat. See if that helps. It did with mine.
