My GLS 580 build order was frozen a few days ago. I would like to add acoustic and comfort package. Any way to add this package after order is frozen?
Any experience with this package? Does this package make big difference and more silent car?

Nothing can be added. Personally I don't think it makes much of a difference in the car.

Its a laminate film is my understanding, and you might be able to get it elsewhere after the fact (or something.similar) maybe?
I skipped it after I read about it reducing cell phone signals inside the cabin and potentially screwing with toll road readers and devices like that. We have two of those in our car, one for toll roads and another for entrance into our neighborhood. We didn’t want to have all of that stuff jammed up on our windshield at specific locations, and certainly didn’t want to risk reduced cell phone signals because we spend a lot of time in the NC countryside where the signals aren’t the strongest already.

I have the package. I think it makes a subtle difference in noise reduction, but a very noticeable difference in heat penetration. You can have the film installed easily after the fact because the factory tint doesn't have a weird color to it but for the cost overall I think it was worth it from the factory.
