Software updates or recalls
Taking my GLS580 in for first service and just wondering if there are any recalls or software updates I should mention to the service advisor? I know they are supposed to check in the computer but I find it always helps to be a knowledgeable consumer.

I know the dealer CAN know but it requires them to check. I don’t want to leave that to chance, so I’m merely asking if anyone who has done an annual service has gotten a TSB or software update done.

You can enter your VIN here https://www.mbusa.com/en/recall and see all the outstanding recalls. It's also supposed to show open service campaigns, but that doesn't seem to work for me. Just ask your SA to check VMI for any campaigns.
