Phone mount suggestions
Anyone have a phone mount they like for the new GLS that works with an iPhone 12 Pro Max? I have preciously used the
in my E63 but it doesn’t work well in the vents of the GLS. Any bumps and the phone and mount end up falling on the floor. The Pro Max doesn’t fit into the charging pad slot with the case I have so that isn’t a good option and I like to use apple CarPlay.

I use Proclip USA phone mounts thats catered to over the GLE/GLS vents. I have used Proclips for ten years on multiple cars and the quality and fit are top notch, as each mount is customized for each car model. There are also mounts from Aliexpress that goes between the air vents, but I'm not sure about the quality of these.

I love my Scosche magnetic vent mount, but now that the center air vents are so low on the 2021, might have to move it to the left of the steering wheel.

I like to have access to the phone and keep is safe from moving around. Sometimes Waze locks up and you need to close the app on the phone, you can have your music up on the phone and Waze on the main screen etc.
I also don’t like keeping the phone in the cup holder because I usually have a water bottle and/or a cup of coffee in there. The darn Pro Max is too big to actually fit in the slot where the wireless charger is if you have a case on it.
