I need the extra boom. I got a Cerwin Vega 12" in their ported box. Takes up 1/3 of the room in the rear. 1000w amp to go with it. I just need a good location to tap into the signal source. Have no idea. Maybe I can get some help here but it seems most of you are Karen's.
The bass is good enough for me with the 3D version but the middle row seems to get little to no bass in comparison to the 1rst and 3rd row. It is really that obvious and I have to be mindful of the little one's ears when they are in the 3rd row.
My days of 2 Bazooka Bass tubes or Cerwin V's in boxes , Capacitors, Rockford Fostgate amps and Alpine DSP's and head units is long gone. I've gone Karen myself these days, in that regard.

I've been driving it with the standard Burmeister audio, but I always felt that something was missing—especially in the bass department. Coming from an E350 with Harman/Kardon, I knew how good my favorite tunes could sound, and the lack of bass in my GLS was really noticeable.
After doing some research, I decided to upgrade just the bass speakers in the footwell compartment. I’m happy to report that the bass is back and sounds how it should! It’s made a significant difference in my listening experience.
Recently, I had the chance to drive the EQS and EQE models, both equipped with Burmeister 3D (standard, not High End), and the sound quality was amazing! I really wish my GLS could sound like that.
If you're feeling like your audio system is lacking, I highly recommend considering an upgrade to the bass speakers. It made a world of difference for me!

are you able to share the link for the exact same model. I have been looking for reviews and you are the very first one. I also found the focal subs replacements but not sure if they would fit.

EDIT: turn on auto translate to English by tapping on the cog wheel, subtitles, German, and then okay. Go back into that same setting and then "auto translate" will appear, select it and then English.
^^^ That was really useful, especially since I haven't looked behind and under trim.
I can use it later and maybe print some pics while I'm working.
Right now I'll use it in my dash cam installation.

I wouldnt waste time or money upgrading the oem system just dont be a ***** and put a sub in the back. I got 1000w to a 12" Cerwin vega. The box only takes up a little less than half the trunk and I can still remove it if im hauling stuff. Yes I needed more base. I like my music. Some people dont like loud bass and just listen to AM radio, thats fine. lol.
