Headlamp Issues

Yesterday on my way home from a short drive, got these messages:
- Active Headlamps Inoperative
- Check Right Low Beam
Amazingly on inspection, I saw that it was actually LEFT headlight that didn't light up completely (completely off in parking or DL mode, but apparently ok with full lights on) while the message was mentioning the RIGHT light.
More amazingly, this morning the car was fine. No message and all lights working properly. What gives?

After my first GLS ended up being a lemon and was bought back, I guess I should still be thankful that the 2nd one lasted almost to 10K miles trouble-free...

This place is a joke.
Did you expect things to be different the second time around? I once heard something about the definition of insanity.....

Everybody stay calm. It’s not a Lemon, it’s a computer with wheels.

I had this same set of malfunction messages and defects appear on my 2018 E400.

it was a software issue that was a 15 minute no charge fix at the dealer.

Even the great cup of coffee was free.

they had to replace the rt headlamp on mine. The whole unit. I believe there is a bulletin on it.
so far, every tech bulletin that has come out for the ‘20 GLS has become an issue at some point. I just got it back after 2 weeks at the dealer regarding the 48v malfunction issue. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Do you know where someone like me can see the tech bulletins for the 2020 GLS? If not too much can you list the issues summarized in the bulletins?

Go to https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2020/M...-CLASS/SUV/4WD and then scroll down to Manufacturer Communications.
