Extended warranty - RoadVantage?
Picked up my 22 GLS 450 today. The finance guy was selling the roadvantage extended warranty 8yr/100k miles for $3854. Anyone heard of this or got it? Not really any reviews about the warranty coverage by these guys. I was planning to get the MB extended warranty for 7/75 and $3500 from Jeff at mblouisville.
Other than that not the smoothest rollout. 10 min out from the dealer a lot of warning came on : active brake assist limited, lane assist disabled, blind spot disabled. Will be taking it back to the dealer tomorrow.

Price is very reasonable, but I would tread carefully, My wife got a 6 year 100,000 mileage warranty backed by Zurich, good company but they have set price guidelines on Mercedes repairs which did not align with my local Mercedes dealer, and I love the service at my dealer, so we ate the difference after a few conversations with Zurich. Over the 6 years I think we broke even on the cost, MY 08 CLK convert. warranty, different company, cost about the same Never used it. My 2010 Mini Clubman 6 year 100,000 warranty cost $1800. Company went out of business but my dealer insured the warranty and the NEW carrier picked up the engine swap and other repairs for $5600.
Would not buy a Mercedes without coverage, my Veterinarian bought a SL550 with only drivetrain coverage - the ignition, park brake and top ate him alive.
Bought my E400 wagon with the 3 year CPO.

Get the original MB Extended Warranty and don't get it from any Third Party warranty companies. You have a new car with a factory warranty so just extend that using Mercedes. I see absolutely no logical reason why anyone would get a warranty from a third party with a new car. Lots of people who purchase used MBs wish that they could get the extended warranty from Mercedes.
