Reliability wise if you will keep the truck for 7 years which will you buy?

The 2019 GLS will be way more reliable since it is the last year of that generation (X166) which means most if not all the glitches and issues are patched/fixed.

GLS450
The GL/GLS in general has been a reliable vehicle. The 2020+ has been plagued by the 48V system, hopefully 2022 and late 2021 builds have the issue corrected.

Other than that they all seem to have the same suspension issue with the bags leaking as they get older. Just rubber shelf life deteriorating
