This is what I installed to disable the ECO mode. It basically remembers the "OFF" function and doesn't turn it "ON on the next engine restart. ECO mode is still there and functional just remember your last choice.

That's correct, no installation required. This is a programmer that will allow your car to remember the setting.

 

Would this module be reusable in the future for let's say the dealer wipes it off due to updates?
