Tire pressure question

What psi do you guys keep your tires at? I’ve been having tire issues and control issues and the dealership has set them all at 35 which is not what the information on the door panel says. Just curious what everyone else is doing

Use the pressures on the fuel filler cap (Will be different on each vehicle) . Will likely be multiple pressures (with a heavier load versus a lighter load and possibly one for high speed use). Don't sweat the differences between heavier versus lighter too much if you are usual one and occasionally the other. Start with the pressures of how you normally drive and adjust from there. You can read the tire wear for under or over inflation and adjust a little. Also, you can adjust a little for ride comfort. In general, I find Mercedes recommendations to be a tad high and get some quicker wear in the center, but every car will be different.

At 35 all around, suspect you need a drop more in the front, but see what happens. Not surprised if you are having wear issues. I am surprised you would be having "control" issues with 35 all around when driving on the street at reasonable street speeds. Perhaps an indication of something else wrong.

Size tires?
When tires are cold you check tire pressure.
Check the Gas filler door normal use regular load recommended tire pressure add 1 to 2 extra psi when cold.
Mine is a GLE have 20 inch all around keep them cold 33 psi.

I have the 21 x 10, 21 x 11s and use about 40 psi cold all around. Also use the sport setting component of Individual mode, if you know what I'm talking about.

2020 GLS 450
I run 32-33 PSI all around on a 2020 GLS 450 with 20 inch wheels. The recommended pressures are displayed inside the fuel door: 31 PSI for normal load and 41 PSI front and 45 PSI rear for maximum load (1246 pounds). My GLS was delivered new with maximum pressure all around (41/45), which I discovered several weeks later. The GLS rides better on "normal" pressure with only a very minor difference in steering response. Other tires and sizes may have different pressure specifications.

There are two additional tire pressure and load tables on the "B" pillar between the front and rear doors, which is a source of confusion. Both list pressures (slightly different) for maximum load only. I had an independent service center and tire dealer both reset the pressure to maximum pressure in accordance with the "B" pillar label. Seeking clarity I contacted my Mercedes service representative and confirmed with Mercedes customer service that owners should use the pressures displayed inside the fuel door. The owner manual states likewise.

I drove from New York to Chicago, going through smooth highways and old rough freeways (Indiana toll road). Also drove going there with a full load of kids and returned one less person and her baggage. I tested various PSI ranging from 40 (too hard) and 32 (too mushy) on various roads and scenarios and the best ride for me was a 34 rear and 33 front if not loaded. If loaded I would add another PSI on rear and front. My GLS has 21" Pirelli tires that came OEM.
