Getting a 2022 gls without wireless charging due to the chip shortage. Any way to add this after the fact?

 

I'm sure there is if you're willing to pay. Honestly though, its not worth it as its a really tight space and my phones (Samsung Note 20 Ultra & S21 Ultra) can't/barely fit and i'll need to jam it in a bit with the cases on. This might not be a deal breaker, but you still need to plug in the phone for google android which really defeats the purpose...

 

On top of that, wireless charging is bad for the battery mainly because of heat.

If OP insists though, they could consider aftermarket options if OEM is hard to come by.

 

I rather not have it personally. You can always plug in if you really need to charge.
