MBux Video Lag

Just staring to experiment with capturing a few concert videos onto a USB key for playing in the car (e.g. when parked up waiting). Started with a concert video, converted it to MP4 file. Plays fine on the MBUX screen, but I notice quite a bit of video lag (compared to the audio)- like several seconds.

If I press pause, the audio pauses immediately, and you can see the video keep playing - catching up - until the pause point, then it also pauses. Press play again and they start in sync, but very quickly the video is lagging the sound again. Any similar experiences out there ?

When I play the same file on my PC, there is no lag at all - so it's not the file itself.

Some things I am wondering:
- Concert is quite long, 90 minutes - I wonder if it's too long for the MBUX to handle properly. Will try a shorter file and see what happens
- File is 9Mb - not that large I wouldn't have thought.
- File is in 1920*1080 - is the resolution too high ? Although only 24 fps
