New interior?
Hello all , I’m looking for a 3 row suv to replace my m4. Not a big fan of the new x7. I love the interior of the new s/c/glc . Any idea on when the gls will get a mid cycle refresh? 2024 if they follow the x7 trend

The new style of interior will not reach the GLS until the next generation. 2024 will be a simple facelift inside and out, nothing radically new. If you want that interior style, closest you can get is an EQS SUV.

A small exterior refresh with an interior update in the way of a new steering wheel is gonna Halle. For the 2024 model year, but it most likely won’t get the new EQS SUV style interior. I wouldn’t expect a full new generation (X168 in theory) until the 2028 model year.

I was curious about this a while back too, after seeing the new interior arrive to the C class for 2023 (which looks really really sharp). The set up of the dash screen as current, but replacing the paired center screen with an iPad looking screen up from the center console. It's a nice setup, but honestly, not so sure a proper setup for a large SUV. Seems like it would eat up a lot of valuable real estate for an SUV, and make it difficult to use as an SUV for the occasional run to Home Depot for a couple of 10 foot 2x4's that would otherwise slide down the middle of the car from tip to tail. Doesn't seem very friendly to the "utility" part of a large family oriented SUV, if you ask me. I prefer the electronics to be up high and out of the "spill zone", like they are with the current arrangement.
