Order Time

What’s the order time for a GLS 450 right now? When I went in January, it was 8-9 months. Hopefully, it’s better now?

it's market dependent. I'd say that major markets are at least that time frame.

I was told at least 4 months, and I just placed my order. Hoping shorter than that, though.

I'm in North Florida. Ordered MY 2023 on June 25 and was told build likely first week of September. Advised on July 23, build date was updated to first week of August. That date came and went. On September 1, advised build date updated to mid-November. On September 2, advised build date updated to end of September. I'm guessing this week I'll get another text changing that date again. I don't think anyone knows.

Given the uncertainty, I've started looking at possibly getting a 2023 S580. Every dealer I called stated their initial allocation of cars have already been built and are awaiting release from the VPC (vehicle processing center) in approximately three to fours weeks.

How do you get those auto notifications? Is there more allocation for the S580 vs GLS450?
