Arrow GLS car seat count

Tell me if this is right or incorrect.

GLS with 7 seats: comfortably fits 2 car seats, max could fit 5 car seats but uncomfortably (you'd need to take them in and out), and so for 3 kids (3, 2 and a baby) it'd be doable, but uncomfortable.

GLS with 6 seats: comfortably fits 4 car seats, and so for 3 kids it's comfortable.

Is that right?

Edit: assume each seat is 18.5 inches wide

I tried out the GLS and it can fit four car seats in either config. In the six seat config, you might not be able to squeeze past the second row car seats to get to the aisle without removing them, so if you can't then there's only practical capacity for three car seats. For the GLE with seven seats, you could likely fit four car seats. Three in the second row, and then one in the third row.

I have a 6 seat configured GLS and two kids, both in car seats. Younger kid is in the 2nd row seat on the driver side. Older kid can strap herself in so we have her in the passenger side 3rd row seat directly behind the power folding 2nd row chair. We don't use the fold down seat when she gets in. She just hops up and walks back down the aisle. But having her behind the power folding seat does makes it easier on the rare occasion we do need to help her get in.

The arrangement has worked well. We can fit 2 kids and 3 adults comfortably. And when we do need to get an adult into the 3rd row it's nice being able to pull the 2nd row seat forward. I wouldn't recommend car seats in the third row unless the kids can strap themselves in. Too much of a PIA if we had to climb back there every single day.

FWIW, we've had 4 car seats in the back on more than one occasion. Never any complaints from kids.
