Placed order in May and took delivery today (GLS 450 2023). It's my wife's car.

 

Looks great. We have two GL450 and thinking about a new one. Are these built in Alabama and still taking six months for a custom build? Also, did you get the seats with massage function? We are trying to figure out if most options are now available again on the 450 models.

It took 6 months because we wanted MY GLS 2023. Massaging seats are included. The only option that we did not add was the gesture control. Yes, built in Alabama. All options are available now.

Did you add in the Dash Cam option, I was told it was delayed.

 

Yes, we added it. The only thing that we did not add was the gesture control.

 

Do you mind sharing photos of the Dash Cam from inside and outside of the car? I am interested in seeing how it looks. I was told that option would delay my order, so I did not add it as an option.

 

Not sure where the camera is in the front of the car.

 

I was referring to the physical mounting of the camera. Usually, most cameras are outward front facing located by the rear-view mirror mount area.

 

I don't have Dashcam, but it uses the same camera as the augmented reality camera:
