Brake Light Activation
Hi folks. I was wondering if anyone knows the awnser to this question
My GLS450 will slow down rapidly under several different circumstances - when Distronic engages, under emergency braking, when passing a reduced speed limit sign, and when approaching a turn if route guidance is on. In all these cases, I don't need to touch the brake pedal in order to slow. In these cases, does anyone know if the brake lights come on to warn those behind me?

This is easily verifiable at night. Just take a peek at your rear view mirror when your vehicle is stopping. You will see the brake lights reflecting on the vehicle behind you, or on the road itself.
