GLS580 New Build - 23" Wheels Not Avail?

My wife's lease is up and it's time for a new build...

My dealer just told me the 23" wheels are not available until further notice...can any of you with recent builds confirm this?

Thanks

I put an order in back in September and when the dealer phoned me in January to say that my car was going to be delivered in February, the wheels had shrunk to 21s and a couple of other things had changed. I thought they just got my order wrong, but perhaps there is a shortage...
Anyway, it's now been six months and I am starting to look at other cars...

Thanks for the feedback. I think we are just going to buy out her lease rather than deal with the bs.

At this rate, I might be interested in buying your wife's car. Three years old, so... 10% above sticker price?

Good luck!

Ordered a 580 the beginning of September. Dealer just gave up a GLS63 allocation to get my build started in June. 23" wheels and Dashcam are not available with no expected availability date. Getting the 21s(meh) to use as winters with some kind of aftermarket(Vossen, HRE, etc?) to be ordered for warm weather.

You dont want them anyway. They ruin the ride. I use 22's and they are perfect. BTW even the 22's tires are ridiculously expensive. The 23's even more so.

Ive only had one with the 22. If I can remember correctly, the tire was over 500 dollars.

The 23’s are to look at. The 21’s are to live with it in the real world. And even then, you’ll be replacing the rear’s every 25k miles.

We have two AMG’s in our neighborhood, and in my own personal opinion, the massive wheels look wrong. These are SUV’s, and those big rims and ultra low profile summer tires just don’t do it for me. I’d also be scared to death of every pothole and expansion joint in the road. The 21’s appear to be able to take a hit without damage.
