Still a little wonky optioning it out- doesn't match up with what my dealer ordered for me. Not going to worry yet. More concerned about supply chain issues mentioned yesterday.

I'm more concerned that the larger wheels are not there. There are 2 580s in my dealer's lot that have the same exterior as the 450 I'm waiting for (and which has now been confirmed as delayed by at least two weeks), but they are somehow unwilling to upgrade me for free...

By the way, I can only recommend having a look at the mercedes-benz.co.uk configurator. It's much nicer, and in line with the German version, so hopefully it'll make it to the MBUSA site eventually.
Doesn't get a lot of options (they sell mostly Diesels there), but, surprisingly, when I built a 450 to the level that was closest to the one I ordered, they tell me that Your configuration is unique so it may take up to 12 weeks to build your vehicle.
"Up to 12 weeks" doesn't sound too bad, considering it also has to cross the ocean...

I'm wondering if the reason the wheels are not up there currently is that they are not available. MB has been slow to roll everything out in the past on the website - however from my own recent order experience the wheels that are listed are what is available.
I wanted the 22" Silver AMG Multispoke, and the only way I was able to get them was to wait with fingers crossed for a vehicle already in queue with them to become available to have my order swapped to. Thankfully, that happened - but they are hard to get hold of right now.

The website better get its act together. A lot of the surveys I've been filling out (not just Mercedes) imply a possible move to "direct order from website" in the future. We're no where close to that right now but AI might accelerate it.
