Logo Projection?

Logo Projection?
According to the VIN, my '23 GLS450 should have "587 Logo projection via mirror". I have never seen this on my car. Is this something I have to enable in menu?

My X3 has the "carpet lights" but no puddle lights.Logo projection via mirror

GLS 450 / G55 AMG
On my 2020, if you don't have the headlights set to "Auto" they never come on. IE. if you have it turned to the right instead of the center.

They've been on "Auto" the whole time we've had the car. Are these lights known for going out?

Double check your light settings in MBUX. Home >Settings>Lights

Make sure the delay isn't set to OFF

Make sure Locator Light is ticked.



At night on your 360 camera view, you should also see these circle lights underneath both side mirrors as a confirmation that the lights are working.

This is how it looks in my dash. The side mirrors are tucked in the garage but they're not tucked in all the time, especially when the car is unlocked! Projection should be on day or night, right?

I know they turn on when unlocking the vehicle and after you park, turn off the engine, and exit... but I'm not sure if this is all the time or based on ambient light.

GLS 450 / G55 AMG
They are on for me when unlocking (door handle or fob), reversing, and driving up to the speed where the camera auto-turns off (12mph-ish). They are also on when I exit the car after shutting off the engine. Honestly not sure about the daytime as you couldn't see them anyway , but I certainly have noticed them turned on in not-so-dark conditions

Also check your ambient light settings and see if there's a WELCOME setting... Maybe that has something to do with it?

Welcome setting is already checked.
I'll have service look at it since it has a separate issue w/an airbag warning.

After taking the car to service for an airbag message issue, it appears the logo projection is now working! Don't know what they did but I can definitely see it now! Is this something that you can make appear/disappear through coding?

I'm sure you could code it if you have the hardware but it's probably likely they did a reset on the software controlling it to get it active again. Just a hunch.
