2022 GLS 450

I have spent so much time searching through eBay to find wheels. I can find wheels that are "AMG Style", "Replicas", fit GLS (but never have the date so you don't know if they will fit the X167), not something I would care to put on my vehicle or the seller is asking way too much for a used set.

Would love to see a set that you found.

A lot of getting what you want out of eBay is the search terms you use especially when searching for vehicle parts. There are probably 5 or 6 sets of OEM GLS 63 wheels on there right now but unless you hit the query perfect you will probably only get 2 of those sets in most searches. It's the same thing with anything else, GLS trim, GLS grill. How you punch it in has everything to do with what it spits back at you.

I apologize in advance for hi-jacking this thread, but...

I am still trying to find smaller wheels for my 2024 450 to fit winter/all-season tires. I am minded to pretend that it's a 2023, and Tire Rack says that the 2023 can handle 275/50R20 wheels, which I also have on my 2015 GL. (Incidentally, Tire Rack doesn't know the 2024 GLS yet).

Is there anything fundamentally enough different between the 2023 and 2024 X167 that the wheels that work for one would not work for the other?

I doubt that there's anything materially different enough in the 2024 to prevent you from fitting 20" wheels from the '20-'23 X167s. The only caveat I can think of would be if Mercedes decided to increase the size of the brakes on the 450 in 2024, thereby necessitating larger wheels to accommodate. But if the brakes are the same as prior years, then I would be comfortable proceeding.
