Can someone please explain what this "Snow" mode does? I have two guesses (1- it mimics the X166 "slippery" dial setting, or 2- it adapts ESP for fitment of snow chains), but I'd rather not guess.
This is found in Settings, Vehicle, Dynamic Select, Individual Configuration, ESP.
BenzNinja added "Snow," along with many other vehicle settings/options, when he was coding my ILS+. Of course, there's no mention of "ESP Snow" mode in the owners manual, presumably because it's not part of the standard coding for the U.S. models.
Perhaps one of you in another country can shed some light, from your owner's manual?
Does it drive differently? I've never used it, but in past cars that had it, it basically dropped 1st and 2nd gears and slowed the engine speed to prevent spinning the wheels.

I turned it on the other day, when it was snowy on the roads, and I couldn't detect a noticeable difference in the way it drove. That said, I was driving pretty gingerly already, so I wasn't really pushing the envelope.
I'll try to do some more testing, as the roads are snowy again...
I used the "slippery" mode yesterday as the roads froze over. It worked well, but it was unnoticeable.
So I got on a back road and compared Comfort with Slippery.
The engine power is noticeably reduced.
With my winter tires on those conditions in Comfort, I could easily break traction with half throttle,
But in Slippery, I couldn't break traction at full throttle.
