Easiest way to disconnect battery for a few months
Due to travel my 2022 GLS 400d will sit idle for a few months at a time in a basement garage with no electrical sockets (for connecting a trickle charger or solar charger). What is the easiest way to disconnect the battery and will it scramble all the settings each time I reconnect it? I don't think the battery will last (sometimes it might be 5 months between use but normally 2-3 months). Thanks.

This is what standby mode is for if your GLS has it. Not all models have it. It shuts off all consumers and the online connection and shows you how long you can leave the car parked w/o the battery going flat. In my C63 I get 21 weeks if the battery is completely charged at the time, so that's a little over 5 months. I generally activate it whenever I go away for more than a week.

I don't know about the battery, but one unsolicited piece of advice? Get 4 carpet pieces or rubber mats and park it on them, will help to prevent flat spots forming on the tires…

Yes, the 12v battery is under the driver seat. The 48v battery is under/behind the passenger seat. Getting to them is not a simple task. You really need a power outlet for extended non-use or you'll just have to see how long the batteries really last. I'm sure things will go into a hibernation mode after a set period of non-use to conserve power.
