Blackout sunroof shade
On our MY24 GLS 580, the automatically retractable sunroof shade lets in a good deal of light. You can very clearly see the sun or street lights through it.
My wife is a bit photosensitive, which is why we like the automatic rear window shades. However, she has complained frequently about the current amount of light that the sunroof shade lets in. Enough for me to seek your assistance.
Is there any fabric or solution that would maintain the existing functionality of automatic operating and closing, but provide full blackout?

I like your wife am photosensitive and was surprised at the 'see through' shade for the pano roof. I am wondering if there is something that could be attached to the inside of the roof glass panels. I found this, but don't know if it can be trimmed to size.

Some options here:

It's always hit or miss with Aliexpress though.

I generally avoid tint on any glass that I have to look through, since aftermarket film interacts poorly with my favorite Maui Jims. But I don't have to look through the pano roof
Good luck!

The idea of having it tinted is a good one that I may look into. Thanks!
