GLS 450 2020 tire rotation TPMS reprogramming

When I rotate the tires does the TPMS update automatically the new tire locations or it needs to be reprogrammed

Restart the TPMS. The option is on the Service -> Tires menu.

C450, GLS 63 and a few other things
I don't think any "restart" is needed. They'll set themselves in 5-10 minutes of driving. Never have to touch them when swamping winter/summer timers. Only use the Tire Menu if I need to change the "Standard" pressure to eliminate a warning.

Interesting. I wonder if this is new for the 167 or if it's always been that way. I've always restarted the monitor on our 164 manually after a rotation. Never thought to see if it would pick up the change on its own.

It's been there on my previous 164 and 166. Sometimes I get impatient waiting for the car to recognize the new positions, but it happens.
I do the reset if I change my pressures very much.
