2021 GLS63 Oil
Long time lurker first time poster - apologies if this is noted somewhere but im having a hard time searching for the answer im looking for.
Ive just gotten my hands on a 2021 GLS63 w/ 15k miles certified and am very pleased. Everything is done but I am curious on what oil to use once it needs its first change.
I am planning on changing myself every 3-4K miles. I have always used Amsoil oil and filters in my vehicles. Can any one advise the appropriate oil to be using? I assume the best filters are MB filters from the dealer, correct?
I see these two options from Amsoil (0W-40 and 5W-40) both are full synthetic and 229.1 but am open to suggestion on weight, brand and intervals. Thank you!
