MBUX, iPhone and frustrated parents/kids - newbie pls help

Pls help !!
sorry for newbie post so I’m sure it’s an easy one but..
MBUX !!!!!
GLS 2021 with full screen and tablet package
fresh out of LR and this is proving sooooo tough.

kids super excited to get in the car, connect my iPhone, open CarPlay, launch Netflix and watch a movie in the rear - oh if only !!!!

literally NOTHING.

pls help..

how can I get them to watch something/anything without having to go back 20 years and download content an SD card or usb device (now issue is all mine are USB A not C !!!

surely there is something I’m doing wrong here that will make my 2hr journey later today just that bit better ??

otherwise, what actually is the point of the rear screens apart from to change the interior lighting ALLLLLLLL journey…

How are you trying to make it all work?

What have you tried?

What are the results?

Do you have a hotspot subscription?

I think it's land rover.

I wouldn't be surprised if the kids already have ipads so just use them and activate the Hotspot from a parent's phone and be done with it. Built-in rear screens are always useless vs ipads to entertain kids.
