Updating maps
I'm having trouble updating installing the full map update which requires loading it on a USB stick.
What I tried:
Using the download manager, downloaded the 23gb update files onto a USB C stick (tried 2 different sticks)
Insert stick into lower dash usb ports
- not sure which is the right one, but I tried both the regular port and the CarPlay port several times
- turn on car and wait for prompt to install the updates which never comes
- I've verified the car can see the sticks, because I when I navigate to the music menu I see the stick's name as a USB source option
What am I doing wrong? Anyone had success with the most recent update?

I'm all for making facilitators lives easier, so if that's the reason I'm fine with it.

I understand and I agree, it does. In an FAQ thread or log type thread, it also makes it much harder to organize information.
