2021 GLS450 3rd row seat replacement not covered by CPO warranty
Folks,
Over the weekend we noticed that the passenger side 3rd row seat will not go down. It is still under the CPO warranty so I took it in today. They are saying that the seat frame needs to be replaced and that it is not covered under warranty. They are saying that the frame is bent. I have now idea how this could have happened because we never have people riding in the back and almost always have it down. I find it hard to believe that this is not a covered item. They are asking $3841 to replace the frame. This does not sound right to me. Any advice or suggestions on what I should do?

I just got a call back from the service advisor and they said since I was such a loyal customer they were going to go ahead and fix it. While I am happy it is getting fixed it does sound kind of fishy.

You bought it used as a CPO so it most likely was damaged before your ownership. It was their job to sell you a car that met certain standards as a CPO. I would have fought tooth and nail if they somehow reneged on this little fact!
