I just purchased a 2021 GLS580, and the RR passenger door panel has some damage to the top portion of the panel (see photo).
I have found a used panel that is the same color - but different wood insert and missing the buttons for the seat heat. My question is: if I purchase that used panel, can I retrofit my existing wood insert and seat heat buttons - or are they permanently affixed to the panel?

I would try finding an interior repair person. Years ago my brothers s class front driver seat got trashed on the bolster from getting in and out of I was amazed at the before and after. He was a magician. It was through the dealer. It try looking for an auto upholstery place.
Thanks. I actually just ordered a used panel online that I had been looking at. It is the correct colors, but the wood panel is different. I am taking the chance I will be able to swap those.
I will post my results with photos when I am done.
