Picked this beauty up for my wife over the weekend. I’ve noticed parts and accessories seem to require a lot of searching (perhaps due to recent refresh? I have a 2024). I don’t need anything yet (7k, was put in service 8/2024) first full service was completed in June.
I digress, my question is regarding a cover suitable for outdoors. I can’t seem to find anything outside of a custom fit through Covercraft / Coverland
and the like. I did see Q-6-67-0119 listed as “stormproof” - otherwise the details were lacking and I couldn’t be sure it was what I wanted.
One thing about outdoors car covers that has kept mine on the shelf: If your car isn't clean every time you install it, it picks up grit and you sandpaper your finish every time you install and remove it, and when the wind blows.
At least that's my excuse, because it's a chore, especially on larger cars.
Hadn’t thought of that. Typically I only put the cover on my S Class once it’s back from the auto spa - but I don’t drive that one much at all. This will be more of a daily driver. It has good PPF, so maybe it’s fine. I told my wife we need to move to get a larger garage because we seem to keep acquiring cars. 🤣
