Just bought a 2025 gls450 with hitch option for my bike rack. Took first road trip with bikes and crash warning sensors went off no less than a dozen times during 3 hour round trip. Has anyone experienced this? Any resolution? I’m told by dealer to turn off these safety sensors when using bike rack…never had this issue with previous vehicle (not MB).

If you find something to plug into the trailer hitch plug to pretend like you have something attached, it should disable the sensors. Some people in the past said those tester ones work for other cars:
