Aftermarket 22x10 wheels: offset choices and sources?

New 2026 GLS580 w/ staggered 22 wheels w/ summer tires being delivered in a week or so. I want to go to a square 22" all-season setup w/ 22x10 wheels. I like the AMG-style wheels, black with machined lip, and have found these with ET40, 42, and 48 off-set. With the ET48, looks like 20mm inset on the rears, so the addition of a 15mm spacer would put them back to "normal." Any thoughts on which of these choices would be better? Not much difference I know, but worth asking. Anyone have good/bad experiences with these aftermarket wheels, and/or purchasing from a wheel vendor? Here's three choices I've found so far:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/256045895021

https://autocustomz.com/collections/...in-blackwheels

For reference, found a good visual offset calculator here: https://jr-wheels.com/et-calculator

Thanks for any opinions!

Ordered a set of 22x10, ET40 from Elite Custom Rims - they were very responsive with questions, so we'll see what they look like when they show up. I'm going with a set of Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive in 285/45R22, and 4 new TPMS sensors. Total cost a bit over $3k.Sure would have been nice to just order the car this way! The staggered set of wheels/tires will go on the shelf for now...

If it could be ordered that way straight from factory, then it wouldn't be so obvious that Mercedes is also having trouble sourcing 22" and 23" all-season tires!

Interesting also that for the staggered setup, the tire mileage warranty is de-rated by 50%: "6 Years / 60,000 Miles 50% mileage for rear if different size than front". Not that it's worth much anyway, but still...

Next chapter... The 22x10 wheels showed-up this afternoon - they are huge and heavy! And to no great surprise to me they are actually ET48, not the ET40 advertised or confirmed by the seller! Argh. Not a big deal, and what I was expecting based on the part number, but still disappointed in the lack of reliable information. So I proceeded to order a pair of H&R 23mm spacers from here:https://www.vividracing.com Total delivered ~$250. The "Mercedes" caps that came with the wheels are a bit cheesy, as are the stick-on AMG logos, but I can live with that. Otherwise, the wheels look really nice!

With the spacers on the rear, and the 20x10 ET48 on the front, will end up with both F&R about stock looking: +3.5mm front, +3mm rear, from stock staggered, so close enough for me. Now on to tires and TMPS!

And now, the rest of the story...

Wheels arrived, tires arrived (Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive in 285/45R22), OEM quality TPMS from RockAuto, tires mounted and balanced, and no real surprise other than can't use OEM lug bolts! First set from Amazon too long by 3-4mm, next set correct - about 19mm of thread extended into the hub. Installed H&R spacers - quality product! Caution - you will need a thin-wall 17mm socket to be able to get full contact on the spacer to hub bolts! Happy with the final look. The ET48 rims, with the H&R spacers look completely stock, and have the rims within 3mm of the OEM setup. TPMS sensors no problem at all. Happy with the look of these wheels - sorry, it was a crappy day so it was dirty and wet when picture taken :-)
